“I think they would push the 2008 Manchester United with Tevez, Ronaldo and Rooney. I think they would push them,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.The former Aston Villa striker was then quizzed on whether they would eclipse both United’s Treble winners and Arsenal’s invincible’s side of 2004, if they claim all three trophies at their disposal.
Agbonlahor added: “If they win the Treble, I really do. The football we’re watching is different. Everyone knows their positions. The squad depth they have got as well.” City have found a new gear in recent weeks and are unbeaten in all competitions since a 1-0 defeat at Tottenham on February 5.
