Lachlan Ebejer, known as Lochlan James Ebejer, was caught on CCTV footage contaminating raw meat at a Woolworths supermarket in Sydney for 28 seconds on July 1. Ebejer, 22, had a history of shoplifting and was previously banned from Woolworths nationwide for six months. He was charged and later sentenced by Judge Michael Allen to a conviction and a 12-month community corrections order for public urination .
The judge acknowledged Ebejer's long history of mental illness, including schizophrenia, which influenced the sentencing. Ebejer is currently incarcerated and will be on parole from December 17, following unrelated charges
