A man has died after falling from a famous rock where a ‘Yes’ mural was recently painted in the lead up to the Voice referendum.
The man, 60, appears to have climbed the steep rock face at Piano Rock in Tamborine Mountain National Park, one hour west of the Gold Coast on Thursday afternoon.
Queensland ambulance crews were called to the Tamborine Mountain Road landmark just after 4pm following reports a man had fallen to the road below.Police confirmed on Friday morning the man had died.Piano Rock is a large block shaped rock that has been painted to resemble a piano and is a popular landmark of the Tamborine Mountain National Park.As warnings of an unfolding humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territory ramp up, Australia has confirmed how many of its own are stuck.
