Emergency services were called to the scene in the remote community of Hermannsburg — 125 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs - about 3.30pm on Monday after receiving a report of a crash.
Northern Territory Police, Fire and Rescue Service and St John attended the crash site along Larapinta Drive.Medical staff also travelled from Alice Springs to help the local clinic treat the injured passengers.Heavy vehicles were advised to consider using Namatjira Drive to avoid the scene. The major crash investigation unit and NT Worksafe are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
