Sad news to report RIP

A 40-year-old man who was taken to hospital following a crash on the A14 in Northamptonshire on Monday has died, police said today. The incident occurred at about 3.45pm on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 near Welford.

Traffic came to a standstill on the eastbound side of the major road as emergency services attended the scene. It was announced following the accident that all emergency services and an air ambulance were in attendance.
