The man allegedly stole a car while a little girl was asleep in the backseat. The 5-year old's mother had stopped to buy a cake when the theft occurred. 9News
Western Australia Police said a woman in her 30s was driving with a 27-year-old passenger and her five-year-old daughter about 9.30pm last night.The incident began on Main Street in Osborne Park.WA Police allege the 27-year-old man got into the driver's seat while the woman was buying the cake and stole the car.Asian countries once COVID-19 success stories see massive outbreaksThe man stopped at a red light where police were able to intercept the car and arrest the 27-year-old.
He was taken into custody and the little girl who was unharmed and still in her car seat was reunited with her mother.The man has been charged with multiple offences including driving under the influence and stealing and motorvehicle and person.
