A man has died after falling from a cliff at Gibraltar Falls, the second death at the popular tourist spot in a week. 7NEWS

The 22-year-old man was found unconscious in the water.The death marks the second tragedy at the waterfall in a week.The 19-year-old was a student at the Australian National University and a member of the Sydney Rowing Club.

Gibraltar Falls is a 50 m waterfall near Namadgi National Park and remains a popular swimming spot for visitors despite repeated warnings of danger.Signage at the area warns of a “dangerous cliff edge” and urges visitors to stick to the path.
