Police are appealing for public help after a man was found with stab wounds in Sydney's west. 9News
Emergency services were called to Victoria Street in Werrington shortly after 4am in response to reports a man had been found injured inside the stairwell of a unit block.
The man, believed to be aged 29, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital.Police have begun inquiries but have not yet been able to take a formal statement from the injured man.Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call St Marys police on 9677 7499 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
