Authorities said today that emergency services were called to the intersection of Beauchamp Road and Anzac Parade in Maroubra around 4.30pm after a man was found with a stab wound to the chest.
9News understands the man may also have a stab wound to his neck and a woman was found in an apartment block near to the scene when police arrived with non-serious injuries.9News understands the man may have a stab wound to his neck and chest.The man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene and then taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a serious condition, police say.
"Police have been told the man was involved in an argument with another man in the street prior to the stabbing," a NSW Police statement said.
