'We're getting some conflicting reports – some people are saying he was hanging mostly outside the window and other people saying he was just hanging onto the side,' said a Victoria Police spokeswoman.
A man who was hanging onto the side of a car has been thrown to his death after a crash caused the vehicle to flip in Geelong.
"We received quite a few triple-zero calls … of this man seen outside the car," she told radio station 3AW.
