A man is recovering in an area hospital after being shot by a suspect who confronted him at the front door of his East Side home, according to San Antonio police.
A 39-year-old man told police someone had knocked on his door in an aggressive manner and was looking for someone.
In response, the man told the suspect at the door that he didn’t know the person he was referring to. The situation escalated when the suspect pulled a gun and shot the man before speeding away from the scene in his dark-colored pickup truck, according to SAPD. The man who was shot was taken to an area hospital, with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and arm. He’s expected to make a full recovery.
