Man in his 70s 'slashed' by knife in attempted Leyland alleyway robbery
A man in his 70s was 'slashed' by a knife and left with a 'deep laceration' during an attempted alleyway robbery in Leyland.
The incident happened between 11pm and 11.40pm on Monday night and the pensioner was left with a slash wound on his left hand. The culprits, who were both dressed in black clothing, ran off in the direction of the Civic Centre on West Paddock.Officers have today released an appeal for witnesses to the incident or who saw the men in the area around the time of the attack.
