Queensland Police have cordoned off a quiet cul-de-sac in the Brisbane suburb of Stretton after the bodies of a man and woman were found inside a home.
Police were called to a property at Coolidge Court in Stretton about 9.40 am on Monday, where they made the grisly discovery.
Queensland Police said in a statement on Monday the deaths are being treated as"suspicious" and they are currently questioning a 49-year-old man. Forensic officers were seen scouring the property on Monday morning with police cordoning off the cul-de-sac. "If they were going up the street you'd just wave, say hi and that was about it," a local who identified himself as John told the news outlet.
