A PSNI cordon remains in place at Castle Place, after an alleged assault in the early hours of this morning, March 30. Detectives have arrested a man following a "serious assault" shortly after 2am.

"A 36-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences. He remains in custody at this time, assisting detectives with enquiries," a PSNI spokeswoman said.
