Police confirmed an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the serious assault is underway and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.spokesperson said:"Around 3.35am on Friday, June 9, police were called to a report of a man found injured in Gordon Street, Glasgow. "He was taken by Ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where hospital staff describe his condition as serious.
"Detectives are currently carrying out enquiries in the area to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this serious assault and anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 0368.
