A 37-year-old man has been killed after being hit by an airborne gas tank in Sydney’s CBD.
The man was walking along Harrington Street, The Rocks in Sydney when he was struck by the gas bottle, believed to have blown from a nearby rooftop, causing fatal injuries. The man was taken to hospital but could not be saved.
A severe band of thunder storms tore across Sydney on Tuesday night, lashing Greater Sydney with heavy rain, lightning strikes and winds gusts reaching 100 kilometres an hour.
