A 36-year-old man shot and killed a cat with a BB gun Tuesday and threatened to hurt the cat’s owner if she called 911, Carlisle police said. Steven Robinson was arrested on charges of aggravated animal cruelty, animal cruelty, intimidation of a victim and discharging a firearm in connection with the Tuesday night incident, according to police.
Carlisle police said they were called to the first block of South Spring Garden Street around 8:46 p.m. because of a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, a woman told them Steven Robinson killed her cat by shooting it with a BB gun. Police said Robinson was taken into custody at the scene and transported to Cumberland County Prison.
