Liam Newman has been identified as the 25-year-old man killed in an horrific skydiving incident in south-west Queensland on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crew declared Mr Newman dead in Tarawera, just north of Goondiwindi, at 8.10am after they were called to the rural locality over reports of a skydive gone wrong.
“We are incredibly saddened to hear that one of our staff members, Liam Newman has had a fatal accident at a skydiving event in Western Queensland today,” the company wrote. “I worked with Liam at Pro Seal and he was excited to get into his skydiving career full time and work with his Dad," they wrote.A person who the 25-year-old coached described the young man’s enthusiasm as “infectious”.
