Investigators have declared the scene of the crash, in a remote corner of the territory, a crime scene.
A man has died in a car crash in a remote area near the Northern Territory and Queensland border.
In a statement this afternoon, police said the two-vehicle crash had happened on Savannah Way in Calvert, about 170 kilometres south-east of Borroloola, at about 1pm today.Police said officers from Borroloola were at the crash site and had declared it a crime scene.Detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Unit would arrive at the site tomorrow, police said.Posted
