Man orders 'nothing burger' at McDonald's and is left in stitches when staff hand it over
An internet user has been left in stitches after he ordered a cheeseburger from McDonald's with everything taken off – including the burger and the bun.
DenBleyker tweeted that he decided to try ordering a "nothing burger" with the app to test the limits of the restaurant's systems, to the point of farce, the Mirror reports. He wrote: "Will they cancel it? Deliver an empty bag? I am doing this so you don't have to." The cartoonist was in hysterics as he gleefully tweeted that the delivery driver from food app DoorDash had messaged him to say McDonald's was "confused as to what you want on your order". He did not respond to the courier's message, instead waiting for the vacuous order to arrive.
With delivery fees included, he had paid a total of $15 for an empty wrapper. He also joked: "I also literally saved a cow's life by ordering a McNothing instead of a burger."
