Second court appearance for man charged with rape in Skegness
A man charged with an offence of rape in Skegness has been sent to Lincoln Crown Court.
Saad Gomaa, 33, formerly of The County Hotel, North Parade, Skegness, this afternoon appeared before Lincoln Magistrates Court.Gomaa, who appeared by video-link from Lincoln Prison, spoke via an interpreter to confirm his name, date of birth and address.Magistrates sent the case to Lincoln Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 17 July.Lincolnshire Police said officers were called to the Tower Gardens area of Skegness just after 10.
The Force said they were appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the Tower Gardens area of Skegness between 10 pm and 11 pm on Friday, 9 June, and may have information that will assist their inquiries to get in touch.Court listings gave Gomaa's address as the County Hotel, North Parade, Skegness.
