A New South Wales man has been charged over an alleged dark web scheme after authorities uncovered a slew of drugs in air cargo.
Federal police and border force officers begun a joint investigation earlier this year after three separate consignments flown in from the United Kingdom were intercepted in New South Wales.
The packages were allegedly destined for a Greenfield Park address in Western Sydney, leading officers to search a property in May. “Police allege the intended recipient of the drugs was a Greenfield Park resident, 23,” Australian Federal Police said in a statement.
