A man convicted in the slaying of a stranger on a DART train in Richardson a year ago was sentenced Friday to 99 years in prison.
James Ravenell was shot on DART train at the City Line/Bush Station in Richardson. Ravenell, 53, was taken to Medical City Plano Hospital, where he died days later.Surveillance footage showed Bell, wearing a face mask and beanie, pull a firearm from his pocket and shoot Ravenell before getting off the train, prosecutors said.
