A man will go on trial at crown court after he denied strangling and beating a woman in Bushey.
Roshan Ranawaka, 46, opted for a trial at St Albans Crown Court after a hearing in the city’s magistrates’ court on March 3. The man, of no fixed address, is alleged to have intentionally strangled the victim and also assaulted her, by beating, on August 13 of last year.
