Man shot at park in Clairemont, police seek shooter [Breaking]
A man was shot late Sunday morning at a park at the North Clairemont Recreation Center, a San Diego police officer said.
The gunfire was reported about 11:50 a.m. at the park on Bannock Avenue just off Genesee Avenue south of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, O'Brien said.San Diego police investigate a shooting scene Sunday at the North Clairemont Recreation Center. A man was reportedly shot in the chest and officers were searching for two people.
Officers taped off an area south of the park’s playground, basketball and tennis courts, where a concrete path circles a large grassy opening. Officers appeared to be centering their investigation on a small set of bleacher-style benches in that area where there was an open 40-ounce bottle of beer, as well as clothing and other items strewn about.
