A 40-year-old man who was shot by a police officer in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon was wanted for a number of serious matters, Queensland Police have revealed.
The man is currently in Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition after he was shot on Croydon Road, Logan Central at about 1pm.
Emergency services frantically worked to save the man’s life at the scene before he was taken to hospital in a critical condition.He is expected to be charged with one count each of serious assault of a police officer, obstructing police, and acts intended to resist/prevent lawful arrest, Queensland Police said in a statement.
