A 38-year-old man was fighting with an officer trying to arrest him when the officer fired a single shot, according to police.
A 38-year-old man is in stable but critical condition after being shot in the neck by a police officer who was attempting to arrest him around midnight, according to state police.
When officers arrived, the man – who was not identified by authorities – was driving on the road away from the scene on a John Deere riding mower, police said.
