The victim involved in a possible road rage incident Friday night in Clay County is speaking out about his experience and what the Clay County Sheriff’s Office has said about the case.

The driver of the vehicle sped off northbound on Blanding, Ford said, but an exact description was not provided. He said it appeared a white van was shot into, and the person hit by the gunfire was shot in the arm. “I was getting up to speed he could not get in front of me, and the minute he couldn’t get in front of me because I evidently didn’t let him, he just pulled out the gun. The way he did it, the way he pulled the gun out, he just looked right over at me and squeezed the trigger, wasn’t even a warning or anything,” McEver said.
