A 36-year-old was hospitalized after being shot multiple times in what authorities believe was a targeted attack.
PLEASANT HILL — A man was shot multiple times outside of a Pleasant Hill pizza restaurant on Friday night.
Authorities believe that the attack, which took place near the Pizza My Way restaurant on 1300 Contra Costa Blvd, was targeted. A suspect was detained at the scene. Police received multiple calls at around 8:14pm on Friday with reports of gunshots heard in the area of Ellinwood Dr and Contra Costa Blvd.
Upon their arrival, officers found a 36-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.
