Pictures show rubbish and toilet paper strewn over flooded toilet floors
Travellers at Manchester Airport have branded the hub as 'the most disgusting airport experience' after the toilets were left in a 'unsanitary' and 'potentially dangerous' state.
Pictures snapped by the couple show rubbish and toilet paper strewn over the floor, as well as soiled toilet seats and water flooding the bathroom floor. Manchester Airport apologised and said toilets are inspected and cleaned throughout the day."We were quite shocked really, and so were other passengers we spoke to," he said. "There was toilet paper all over the floor, and the ladies lavatories were partially flooded with water all over the floor.
"My objective is simply to try to ensure that this kind of experience doesn't happen to anybody else ever again," he said. "There are some older people who are only just beginning to gain confidence about travelling again after Covid."
