A man who was stabbed by a 'radicalised' Perth teenager who was later shot dead by police responds to the attack, saying he's yet to come to terms with the ordeal.
The 16-year-old high school student was shot dead by police on Saturday night after he stabbed a man and lunged at officers with a knife in a Bunnings car park.
A man who was stabbed by a "radicalised" Perth teenager who was later shot dead by police has said he has yet to come to terms with the incident.and threatened police with a large kitchen knife before he was killed by a single shot fired by an officer.The man, who wants to remain anonymous, said the ordeal had taken a significant toll on his physical and mental health.
"This is very difficult time for everyone involved, and I ask that I now be afforded privacy as I recover from my physical injuries and the emotional toll that this has place on me."It comes after Education Department director-general Lisa Rogers on Wednesday morning confirmed with the ABC that the Rossmoyne Senior High School student who attacked the man was suspended for several days following an altercation with another student last week.
