A man is fighting for life after he was stabbed in the chest, the kitchen knife just missing his heart, while having his morning coffee on a Brisbane balcony.
Massingham said a jogger on Inglis Street overheard the 43-year-old man on the balcony in distress about 5.30am. Massingham said smoke alarms went off, waking the pair’s children, an 11-year-old boy and a nine-year-old girl.“The children were locked inside. The man was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition and was undergoing surgery on Thursday.
