Man suffers life-threatening injuries in East Village shooting [Breaking]
A man suffered life-threatening injuries in an East Village shooting early Saturday, San Diego police said.
The victim’s friend called 911 to report the incident near 17th and K streets about 5:45 a.m., police said. Officers arrived and found a 54-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds about a block to the west. The victim told officers the shooter was wearing a brown, hooded sweatshirt and ran after opening fire, police said.The injured man was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition Saturday morning, according to police.
