At least one person was taken to hospital following a reported stabbing in Shrewsbury at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing in Barker Street, outside Albert's Shed, in the early hours of Sunday.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:"In the early hours of Sunday morning, we responded to a disturbance outside Albert's Shed in Shrewsbury."Officers confirmed that"two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries". However, West Midlands Ambulance Service said one person was admitted to hospital with"potentially serious injuries" after being 4.26am.
A spokesman said:"We were called to reports of a stabbing on Barker Street at 4.26am on Sunday, one ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a male, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital."
