Police officers found seven people inside the small Toyota in Preston
A man in the boot of an overcrowded car tried to hide from police by putting a carrier bag on his head.
The red Toyota was stopped by police in Preston overnight. Officers discovered that the three-door vehicle contained seven people. Officers then found a passenger in the boot who was attempting to hide by putting a carrier bag on his head. The driver of the vehicle was attested by police for a road traffic offenceA spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "This Toyota seen by #HO31 in Preston. Passenger in the boot tried to hide by putting a carrier bag on his head.
"This small car contained a total of 7 people. Driver arrested for Sec 5 RTA. Driver also reported for carrying passengers in a manner likely to cause injury."
