Also in this week’s Brunswick Police blotter a man is cited for obstruction for trying to re-enter his apartment during a fire.

Police responded to a store parking lot at 6:27 p.m. Sept. 1 for a report of a man trying to strike his ex-girlfriend with his car during a child custody exchange. The Strongsville woman said that during the exchange, she approached the man’s vehicle to exchange documents related to their child and he intentionally tried to strike her with his vehicle as he left the parking lot and the couple’s 11-year-old daughter was inside the man’s car. The man was cited for assault.
