Though the potential of Rashford returning to his best was pleasing to see, how well he linked up with Bellingham and Kane - who netted again for the third goal - must bring tears to the eyes. Oh, look what you could have won. When the time came this summer to move on from Germany, United were again interested. Erik ten Hag wanted to sign Bellingham over any other player last season. Yet, even with the steady progress made in the Dutchman's first year, United never stood a chance.
