The former Manchester United academy ace was involved in a horrific incident while playing for Lille
Manchester United have issued a statement in support of their former midfielder Angel Gomes after he was hospitalised due to a severe head injury sustained while playing for French side Lille.

We’re thinking of you, Angel."
"I know he spoke, he asked about the result, he showed he's in good spirits, but I think we have to wait a bit."
