Manchester United have provided an injury update on new signing Rasmus Hojlund and Lisandro Martinez ahead of their clash against Tottenham.
When asked if Martinez is available during his pre-match press conference, Ten Hag replied:"He was just training [on Thursday], so I think so. Yeah."
Other players who are expected to miss out include youngsters Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo, who both picked up injuries during United's pre-season tour of the United States. Goalkeeper Tom Heaton is also out for the the first few weeks of the campaign but Dean Henderson was fit enough to be on the bench against Wolves, deputising for Andre Onana.AdvertUnited also played a behind-closed-doors friendly with Everton on Tuesday to help improve match-fitness which Ten Hag explained proved"very helpful".
"I think it's very helpful to give players the minutes at the start of the season," he said."To come back to 90 minutes after pre-season. It's not that we had a pre-season for six weeks. It was, more or less, four or five weeks.Featured Image Credit:
