AKRON, Ohio — A 41-year-old man was hospitalized after he was shot while walking down a South Akron street by a man on a dirt bike, police say.
The victim and another person were walking along the 800 block of Brown Street at about 1:45 p.m. Monday when they came upon the suspect, who was sitting on the dirt bike. The suspect reportedly spoke to the victim and the other person before opening fire. The suspect drove off south on the dirt bike.
No arrests have been made and the person who was with the victim ran from the scene after the shooting and has not been located.
