Mail A man has allegedly walked into a police station in the US and confessed to killing his girlfriend more than four years ago. Connor Scott, 24, provided officers in Danville, Indiana, with a full taped confession on Sunday evening to the murder of Kaylyn Whitaker, Danville police department said in a statement. Ms Whitaker was just 20 when she died of a gunshot wound at Scott’s Illinois home in October 2014, Indiana news site mywabashvalley.com reported.
Her death was initially thought to be a suicide but was ruled as a homicide 10 months later in 2015. Kaylyn Whitaker was found dead inside he boyfriend Connor Scott's house. Illinois Appellate Prosecutor Ed Parkinson told mywabashvalley.com Ms Whitaker’s gunshot wound made it almost physically impossible for her to take her own life. "It is my opinion that Kaylyn could not have shot herself in the location where the bullet entered her skull,” Mr Parkinson said.
