Robert Singletary, the man accused of shooting a 6-year-old neighbor and her parents in North Carolina after a basketball rolled into his yard, was apprehended and is in custody in Hillsborough County, Florida.
Neighbors say suspect had yelled at children before
Several neighbors at the scene told CNN that Singletary had moved into his house a few weeks ago and since then had often yelled at kids for being in his yard. In Tuesday's shooting, the father who confronted Singletary ran away and was not injured, the neighbors said.
