John Paul McGinty died following the incident which happened shortly after 6.30pm yesterday evening on the eastbound carriageway of the A726 east of the roundabout junction with Murrayhill and Cornwall Street.Man dies after crash with three vehicles in East Kilbride
The three cars involved in the crash were a black Citroen Berlingo van, a silver Seat Leon and a white Vauxhall Crossland. An investigation into what happened is now underway and anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 2829 of Wednesday, December 7. Sergeant Gemma Blackadder, of the Road Policing Unit in Motherwell said:"Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.
"Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances which led to this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch."You can call police on 101, quoting reference 2829 of December 7."
