Rene Ross was detained after officers stopped a BMW in Northampton.
Rene Ross, 25, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court to more than three years in prison after being arrested in the town.
Ross, from Wolverhampton, was detained after officers from Northamptonshire's Police's Operation Revive team stopped a BMW on Colwyn Road.Police were on patrol on the afternoon of 13 July last year when they came across a black BMW X5.Officers asked him whether he had anything on him and he responded by running away.
Forty two of the wraps were found to contain heroin and 21 contained cocaine, with an estimated street value of between £735 and £840. In court, Ross, of Falcon Crescent, Bilston, Wolverhampton, was given two sentences of three years and six months for possession with intent to supply the two drugs, which will run concurrently.
