Man who drove car into San Diego Bay is arrested on suspicion of DUI [Breaking]
A 48-year-old man who drove his car into San Diego Bay early Sunday morning was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, police said.
The man was driving a Kia Soul with a 22-year-old woman in the vehicle around 1 a.m. on Harbor Island when he drove off the road and into the water, said Harbor Police Sgt. Troy Nicol.The man also was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse, Nicol said. He was booked into county jail and is being held on $50,000 bail, Nicol said.
