James Hobbs, 52, risks jail if he breaches an injunction issued by the county court
A man has been banned from entering any primary school in England or Wales following a string of complaints about anti-social behaviour - including when he allegedly told parents he was 'Jimmy Savile' outside the school gates.
The County Court issued the order last month which forbids Hobbs 'entering or attempting to enter any primary school or the grounds of any primary school in England or Wales'.It also bans him from 'contacting or communicating with any person under the age of 18 save as unavoidable in ordinary life'. The order, which elapses on March 19 next year, means Hobbs risks arrest if he breaches its terms.
It added: "At one he told staff and parents that he was 'Jimmy Savile' and was found with his trousers around his ankles attempting to climb the fence of a second primary school in Trafford. In addition, there have been complaints about his behaviour near to his address on Kew Drive in Davyhulme. "The order was made final by the County Court on the 15 April 2024. The injunction carries a power of arrest meaning police can immediately take Mr Hobbs into custody should he repeat his behaviour.
