Former Manchester United assistant Rene Meulensteen laid into the current state of the club and criticised the players who ‘never committed’ to the Red Devils.on Saturday to consign them to their worst Premier League points tally ever.It has been a hugely disappointing season for the club, first under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then under the interim charge of Ralf Rangnick.
“The season has been derailed more and more. You saw the frustration kick in when they got knocked out of this competition, then they got knocked out of the FA Cup, then they lost ground in the league.
Meulensteen also hit out at some of the United squad, without naming names, for their lack of commitment to the club.
