Confirmation of the British billionaire's purchase of a 25 per cent stake at the Premier League giants was announced on Christmas Eve after months of negotiations, in a deal understood to be worth £1.25billion.
Southampton have rejected an approach from Manchester United to take their sporting director Jason Wilcox to Old Trafford, talkSPORT understands.
Wilcox, who won the Premier league title with Blackburn as a player, only joined Southampton from Manchester City in the summer. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is already looking to make key backroom additions as he attempts to return Manchester United to their former glories.
