Amad Diallo was sent off after scoring a dramatic last-gasp winner in a thrilling FA Cup tie against Liverpool.
The Manchester United forward sealed his side a 4-3 win in the final moments of extra time but having already been booked he was given a second yellow for taking his shirt off in his celebration. The two teams played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in normal time with Marcus Rashford blowing a gilt-edged opportunity to win the quarter-final with the final kick of regulation time.
But Erik ten Hag's men hit back through Marcus Rashford's equaliser before Diallo finished in the final seconds of extra time on the counter-attack. A neat finish by Antony sent the tie into extra time before Diallo ended Liverpool's hopes of a quadruple in the most dramatic way. But referee John Brooks had no choice but to dismiss the Ivorian, who had earlier been shown a yellow card.
