The Lionesses reached their first-ever World Cup final with victory over Australia and Erik ten Hag is particularly proud of Sarina Wiegman's impact.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is "proud" of England Women's coach Sarina Wiegman after the Lionesses reached their first-ever World Cup final.
United Women's trio Mary Earps, Ella Toone and Katie Zelem are all in the Lionesses squad that will face Spain in Sunday's final in Sydney. Toone became the first England player to score in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in major tournaments with her opening piledriver in the 3-1 win over Australia on Wednesday.
The timing of the Women's World Cup has contributed to United delaying their decision on Mason Greenwood's future. United insist no decision has been taken even though chief executive Richard Arnold is understood to have informed confidants of the club's intention to reintegrate Greenwood back into the first-team squad.
